ScalePad is launching the next step towards a unified experience across our product suite. Introducing the ScalePad Hub — a centralized ScalePad account with an updated look and feel.
Coming soon, ScalePad product users will sign in using a new ScalePad Hub account as part of the migration. We’ve summarized what you need to know and how it affects your experience below.
Note: Nothing is required of you at this time—you will be guided through the process once migration begins.
The ScalePad Hub is a centralized sign-in and administration portal for all ScalePad applications. It is the entry point into the ScalePad app ecosystem for our Partners. The Hub is the first step in our vision of an integrated product suite that allows a seamless flow of crucial data and information between our apps.
We’re still finalizing the migration date. Once confirmed, we’ll email product admins to let them know and update the sign-in banners on our apps to reflect the migration date.
Lifecycle Manager, Lifecycle Insights, Backup Radar, and ControlMap. Quoter and Cognition360 will not be included at launch, and we will include them at a later date.
In preparation for the migration, we will unify each ScalePad Partners’ individual product accounts into a single ScalePad Hub account for their organization. Emails are being sent to the administrator email addresses on each ScalePad product, informing them of the upcoming changes. If you are an account admin and did not receive this email message, reach out to our Support team at [email protected].
Nothing! We’ll consolidate multiple product accounts and perform the migration for all our Partners. Once the Hub is live, you will be guided through the new sign-in process.
For app admins, please make note of any changes to sign in that may require re-configuration when you sign in for the first time after migration.
The Hub grants ScalePad Partners the following:
It will be the entry portal into your ScalePad experience. We’ll continue to develop the Hub over time.
No, not yet. This is the first step that will enable us to automatically centralize billing in the future. If you want to manually update your billing now, contact your Partner Success Manager.
ScalePad provides a free version of our Lifecycle Manager app with every ScalePad Hub account. It is 100% free and you will not be charged.
Lifecycle Manager is the first client engagement platform for MSPs. Client-friendly reports, scorecards, and roadmaps talk tech to people who don’t, making communication smoother as you plan with clients for the short and long term. Learn more on our website.
We’ll be publishing a new ScalePad Hub Help Center closer to the migration date. Stay tuned for details.
At ScalePad Innovate in June, our tech vision presentation, our CPO & Founder Chris Day and VP of Product Adam Hert shared their vision for the ScalePad Hub and ScalePad OS. Watch the recording here.

Yes, users who log in with a username and password will be prompted to update their password during the sign in process. Your new password will be used to sign in to the ScalePad Hub and access all your subscribed apps.
Yes, you can continue to sign in to the ScalePad Hub without any updates for Microsoft and Google.
The ScalePad Hub will not support SAML for SSO at launch. Once the ScalePad Hub is live, SSO will be provided through Microsoft and Google. Enforcing SSO and MFA at the organization level will be available as well.
Yes, upon sign-in, users will be prompted to reconfigure their MFA settings for their new Hub account and guided through the process.
Once the migration is complete, go to the Hub home page (app.scalepad.com/account/home), click on “Members” and set up multi-factor authentication.
The ScalePad Hub will use a flexible TOTP based MFA option instead of Duo. All users will need to re-configure their MFA once the ScalePad Hub is released.
Once the migration is complete, go to the Hub home page (app.scalepad.com/account/home), click on “Members” and configure the sign on settings.
You can continue to sign in using your current preferred method. For organizations with multiple ScalePad app accounts, you will only use the Hub to access all of your apps (excluding Cognition360 and Quoter).
No. We are only unifying the sign-in experience across our suite of apps. Data residency will not change for any ScalePad app.
Your Hub account will store your Backup Radar region, so you no longer have to select the region when you sign in. It will be chosen automatically for you. Nothing will change regarding data residency.
No, client users will not have access to the ScalePad Hub. They will access the apps from a dedicated sign-in page.
For ControlMap
Nothing will change. Client users have a dedicated sign in page that they can continue to use.
For Backup Radar and Lifecycle Insights
After the migration, all clients will be guided to a dedicated sign-in page separate from the ScalePad Hub. Once ready, we will publish the URLs for your reference. Clients will be able to sign in using their current login & password, Microsoft, or Google.
Here’s a templated message you can send your clients directly to inform them about these changes:
Dear [Client Name],
The sign-in page for [insert product name] will change on [date tbd].
You will be guided to a new sign-in page, where you can sign in as normal. Once you have signed in, you will be able to access [insert product name] as usual. Please bookmark this new page for all future sign-ins.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Regards,
[Your MSP name here]
No, all public dashboard URLs will stay the same and continue to have a US or EU prefix.
Yes. The ScalePad Hub will be the master list of all your account users and is required to authenticate them for access to your ScalePad apps. All of the users in the ScalePad Hub will be made available to your ScalePad products as users.
Users will be given the equivalent permissions they had in a product. For example, a user with administrator privileges in Backup Radar will also have administrator privileges in the ScalePad Hub. If they are in more than one product with different levels of permission, they will be granted the higher level of permission in the ScalePad Hub.
After signing in, go to the “Members” page and update user permissions as required.
Nothing changes. Client users of Backup Radar, Lifecycle Insights, and ControlMap are still managed in the respective app.
