You can get warranty support for all workstations and Microsoft Surface devices within the age of limitation (under seven years old), excluding Apple and Intel-manufactured devices. These devices must exist as assets in your Lifecycle Manager account to be eligible.
Simply put, we loathe long wait times.
We could have gone with an on-site repair model for workstations, but the timelines to achieve repair vary with sourcing specific parts on 100,000+ models we support. Some fixes can take days or weeks, potentially with multiple visits required to first diagnose and then repair the issue. We wanted something more dependably timely.
With the Advanced Exchange model for Workstation Assurance, we can ensure a more efficient and hassle-free warranty experience where your client receives a functional replacement device.
Each asset gets one accidental damage claim (aka, one Very, Very Unlucky Day) per year throughout the agreement term.
Replacement workstations are new, open-box, or Grade A refurbished. Hard drives within the refurbished workstations may either be new or refurbished.
