VANCOUVER, BC, Canada (September 3, 2024)ScalePad is excited to announce Chris Day as the new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Dan Wensley. In addition, MSP industry veteran Mike Walsh will move into the role of ScalePad’s Chief Product Officer. This leadership change marks a new chapter in ScalePad’s journey, and the company is poised for rapid innovation and growth with a product-centric mindset.

Chris Day, who co-founded the company in 2015 (originally named Warranty Master), expressed his enthusiasm for his new role as CEO. “It is with heartfelt gratitude that I step into this role,” said Day. “Dan has led ScalePad to 10X growth during his five-year tenure—an achievement beyond our wildest dreams. My commitment now is to equip our Partners with best-in-class products that empower them to deliver the ultimate client experience”.

Under Dan Wensley’s leadership, ScalePad experienced extraordinary growth, expanding to a global presence with 240 employees and over 12,000 Partners. “Dan’s tenure has been marked by achievements well beyond what we imagined,” Day noted. “Starting with just 25 employees and one SaaS product, Dan led ScalePad through a successful rebrand, five acquisitions, and its evolution into a multi-product industry leader. I’m thrilled that he’ll continue to serve as a strategic advisor to ScalePad.”

Longtime Partner and CEO of Transformative IT, Joe Markert, also reflected on his long-standing relationship with Chris Day. “I’ve known Chris as a thought leader in our space since before my company joined Warranty Master in 2015” said Markert. “With Chris now at the helm,  I’ve never been more enthusiastic about the future of ScalePad and what it means for all Partners”.

Stepping into the role of Chief Product Officer, Mike Walsh brings extensive technical expertise and leadership within the MSP space, as well as a unique connection to Chris Day—Walsh wrote the first line of code for one of Day’s products IT Glue. “I’m proud to lead such an innovative team,” said Walsh. “With the upcoming launch of ScalePad Hub/OS, we’re introducing the MSP industry’s first open, integrated ecosystem. This platform will enhance productivity through smart workflows and seamless integration with third-party tools”.

With this leadership transition, ScalePad not only continues its tradition of innovation and excellence but is poised to set new industry standards. As Chris Day and Mike Walsh step into their roles, the company remains dedicated to delivering unparalleled value to its Partners, ensuring that the journey ahead is as successful and transformative as the past.
