  • Who can access Copilot?
    Currently, it’s available to all MSP users with Lifecycle Manager Pro and X subscriptions with unlimited access to all Copilot features for three months starting June 15, 2026.
  • Where can I find it?
    No set up is required. The ScalePad Copilot icon can be found on the bottom right-hand corner of the Lifecycle Manager home screen.
  • What data does Copilot use, and can it pull from my connected tools?
    Copilot can draw information from across the ScalePad ecosystem, helping MSPs bring together lifecycle data, compliance insights, client planning information, and other operational context. By combining live data from your PSA, RMM, and other connected integrations, Copilot can help MSPs move through complex data and multi-step workflows more efficiently. This enables more informed recommendations, more relevant actions, and a more complete view of client environments.
  • Does the Copilot take action automatically—or do I control it?
    ScalePad Copilot is AI-assisted, not autonomous. In general, it can provide client summaries, QBR talking points, initiatives, and recommendations based on the prompts you provide. It will still require human oversight to review, edit, and confirm actions before they’re applied.
  • Does Copilot replace an Account Manager (AM) or vCIO?
    No, the goal of the Copilot is to reduce manual prep. This way, AMs and vCIOs can quickly prepare QBRs, generate client summaries, and identify lifecycle risks - freeing them to focus on more strategic client conversations.
  • How is ScalePad Copilot different from other AI copilots or assistants? Is my data secure?
    ScalePad Copilot is directly embedded into Lifecycle Manager and is purpose-built for MSP data and workflows. Your data is never shared with other partners or used to train any AI models, and it stays encrypted within the same SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001-backed infrastructure as the rest of the platform.
  • Does ScalePad Copilot export data?
    No, Copilot currently does not support exporting data.
  • Is each session in Copilot a specific instance with no memory of other chats?
    No, ScalePad Copilot does not share memory between users. It keeps the memory of each user’s individual chats. To continue a previous conversation, you can select a previous session or thread by simply going to the conversation history icon on the top navigation bar of the Copilot to continue where you left off.
  • How much does Copilot cost, and will pricing change after Open Beta has ended?
    Currently, Copilot is included in the subscription that you already have with ScalePad. Our goal is to keep Copilot easily accessible for all partners, so even after Beta ends, we plan to ensure that we capture fair use and provide partners with ample credits to make the product useful.
  • If I also have a subscription to other ScalePad products, will Copilot be able to work there as well?
    ScalePad Copilot does work with data found across our ecosystem products, specifically ControlMap and Quoter, which you can access from the Lifecycle Manager interface. Copilot can fetch you a client’s compliance insights, assessments, and client planning information into a single operational view. By integrating connected data from ControlMap and Quoter with conversational intelligence, Copilot streamlines complex, multi-step workflows—giving your team deeper situational awareness for more informed recommendations and more impactful actions across client environments.
